Norfolk Seaweed Ltd are delighted to share with you some really exciting news with thanks to our super team at Norfolk Seaweed and those who've been with us on the journey so far. We have been granted our marine license by MMO to farm brown seaweed species offshore the North Norfolk Coast. We are the first seaweed aquaculture company to be granted a license in the UK sector Southern North Sea.
SEP Hydrographic have already carried out a full range of acoustic surveys of our site that include sub-bottom profiling, SSS, MBES and Magnetometer. This data will join our seabird and sea mammal surveys in building a solid baseline on which to develop going forward . Really exciting for East Anglia ,our coastal community and ocean health.
